As a self-pay private practice, we do not directly accept insurance. However, we understand the importance of insurance coverage and have made special arrangements to accommodate Aetna members through our contractor, Headway. If you are a North Carolina resident, you can check here to explore the potential coverage. Please note that we are not partnering with Headway for testing services.

If you are a self-pay client, you can request a monthly "superbill" which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your coverage. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to inquire about their coverage for out-of-network psychotherapy and testing services. This will help you to gather more information and better understand the extent of your coverage. Some clients choose not to submit claims to insurance companies to ensure privacy.

Good Faith Estimate

Please note that you have a right to an estimate, known as a Good Faith Estimate, of your medical service costs.

This should be provided by your healthcare provider at least one business day ahead of your appointment or upon your request. If your final bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you can dispute it.

It is advisable to keep a copy or a photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
